Over the past 35 plus years, I've had the privilege of travelling the globe sharing my Ideas At Work, encouraging audiences and clients to profitably grow and to succeed in their lives and careers. (2026: live 86 countries on 6 continents, so far. More so on zoom.) I believe life is an adventure to be embraced and lived to fullest. Career success and business involvement are part of that adventure. Toastmasters can be an asset for those who want to succeed. It was for me!

Thinking back, had I not joined Toastmasters in 1991 and applied the lessons learned; none of these kind words would have been received or shared with you.

"I am delighted to write these words as a small way to repay Bob for the generous help he has given us over these last few years. I first met Bob when he was presenting at a special Toastmasters evening here in Barcelona. I believe he was celebrating his birthday here. A few of us went for a drink afterwards and I mentioned we were about to start PSA-Spain. He volunteered to assist us as he had been involved in helping launch CAPS in Canada. He shared advice, encouragement and zoomed in for our meetings on a regular basis. If it weren’t for Bob’s outstanding positive can-do attitude, I don’t know what would have happened.

"Bob and I have worked on the stage together at various events. Most notably we travelled to Russia together to speak at a Rotary District Conference a few years ago. That event was a great success. Bob has shared his talents and expertise with Rotary, supporting our various programs and presenting at leadership training events. He has also taken an interest in mentoring youth and young adults through participation, supporting our Rotaract clubs (University/College aged service club sponsored by Rotary).
